I was asked to design a logo for the website UrlTick.com and this is what I came up with.

    How did you get the shadow to look like that? I’s not a normal drop shadow is it?

    Hi Ben

    This was done in Illustrator. I just copied the character shape, filled it black, knocked the transparency to about 30% and then reduced the leg shadows a wee bit with the pencil tool to make the shadow look real-ish, or at least in roughly the right place.
