A plasticine stop motion animation character and the original vector illustration he originates from.
Is there a software that can let you build these images? I need to create a planet earth made out of plasticine. Any tips?
I would say; go ahead and make it out of plasticine.
Other than maybe an image editing program to tweak your photos, you don’t really need any special software, just a couple of sculpting tools and a little time.
You can get away with using an inexpensive camera as long as you have good lighting.
The illustration on the right above was created in Flash and then cleaned up in Illustrator.
You can use Blender (free, similar capapbilities to Maya) to animate the plasticine models. The difficult part is learning Blender, I learnt via online videos.
